Scott Miller
Founder, CEO
Scott Miller, a veteran entrepreneur, has a talent for spotting trends and strategically creating value. Starting as a financial analyst at Fortune Brands and pursuing an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, he shifted towards entrepreneurship, taking on a significant Jimmy John’s franchising venture in South Florida.
Miller mastered operational, customer service, and team management skills, leveraging them to establish strategic partnerships with innovative restaurant brands Aloha Poke Co. and Sugar Factory. With 15 years of experience, Miller became an expert in construction building over 15 restaurants. PICKLETILE™ embodies this wealth of experience, showcasing a blend of innovative vision, precise execution, and steadfast commitment to excellence.
Steven Blustein
Co-Founder, President
Steven Blustein is an entrepreneur/innovator extraordinaire and the Co-Founder of both Gembah Inc and PrideBites Pet Products. He is an expert in product development and supply chain strategy. Over his career, Blustein has owned and operated businesses that have designed, manufactured and sold millions of consumer products from all over the world. He is well versed in foreign manufacturing strategy and has participated in every aspect of the product creation journey.
In 2016, Blustein was backed by two Sharks, Lori Grenier and Robert Herjavec, on ABC’s Shark Tank, and was a previous recipient of the Pet Industry 40 under 40 award. Blustein graduated from the University of Kansas with his Masters in Tax and is trilingual in English, Chinese and Spanish. Steven is married to his beautiful wife Kellie, and together they have a son, JB and two furry children named, Mona and Minnie.
John DiBlanda
Director of Business Development
John DiBlanda is an entrepreneur specializing in guiding early-stage tech startups. With a profound passion for innovation, he began his career at a non-profit accelerator, acquiring invaluable skills that paved the way for his future success in the tech arena. A pivotal moment in DiBlanda’s career unfolded at Gembah, a company based in Austin. Starting as an Account Executive, his exceptional sales skills and ambition propelled him to the role of Partnerships Manager. In this position, he designed Gembah’s partnership program, strengthening client relations, and implementing new sales strategies. DiBlanda has been recognized for his contributions receiving the Gembah Core Values award in 2021 and 2022.
In his role as Director of Business Development at PICKLETILE™, John pushes boundaries with his dedication to ensuring every customer’s success. Through strategic thinking and commitment, he solves problems and fosters innovation. John holds a degree from the College of Charleston in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship.
Mats Jonmarker
Expert Construction Coordinator
Mats Jonmarker, founder of MTJ Sports in Chicago, attributes his 30 years of success in sports construction to his past experience competing as a professional athlete. Excelling in hockey and soccer, and even joining the PGA in 1985, his diverse athletic background has shaped his approach to building top-quality courts with a particular focus on performance. MTJ Sports specializes in the design, build, and resurface of both indoor and outdoor pickleball, tennis, and padel courts. Mats’ commitment to sports court construction has propelled MTJ Sports to an elite status within the industry executing hundreds of tennis and pickleball courts in the midwest. As an Expert Construction Coordinator, Mats serves a fundamental role at PICKLETILE™ offering oversight and quality control to all construction initiatives.
